Desmo Labs’ July Journey: From the ‘Month of Web 3’ to Building Trust in a World of Anonymity
In July, Desmo Labs marked an important milestone, as we celebrated our ‘Month for Web 3’. Our team engaged in a variety of blockchain events and competitions, imparting their expertise as speakers. The pinnacle of the month was our first-ever rooftop party, an event designed to foster connections with friends and prospective partners. Amid the lively atmosphere, we were thrilled to launch the D/Wallet, Desmo Labs’ very first compliant wallet.
D/Wallet: Revolutionizing Decentralized Finance Amid Parisian Skylines and EthCC6
July opened with a burst of activity, thanks to the Ethereum Community Conference (EthCC), Europe’s foremost annual Ethereum event. Desmo Labs was privileged to be a sponsor, and as one of the respected WAGMI sponsors, we were granted the opportunity to showcase our innovative solutions. Our D/Bond technology, is engineered to provide bespoke solutions for streamlining supply chains, and our Source.ID Digital Identity Solutions, designed to empower individuals with Electronic Identity, were both put in the spotlight. The emphasis on these solutions allowed us to demonstrate our commitment to providing marginalized communities with vital access to identity and property rights, thus facilitating their engagement with legal and financial services.
Discussing Desmo Labs’ offerings would be incomplete without a mention of the D/Wallet. This groundbreaking application, with its unique blend of accessibility, compliance, security, and scalability, stands ready to revolutionize the world of decentralized finance.
The grand unveiling of the D/Wallet took place during our rooftop event, which coincided with the first day of the EthCC. Framed by the captivating Parisian skyline with the Eiffel Tower in the backdrop, a vibrant gathering of founders, developers, and investors congregated to deliberate on the future of regulations, real-world assets, and compliant wallets. Renowned team members from IOBC, Athena, Ethereum France, and Blockbridge Digital added another dimension to the event by sharing their valuable insights. The highlight of these engaging discussions was the eagerly awaited introduction of the D/Wallet, providing a thrilling climax to an unforgettable month for Desmo Labs.
Panel Discussions and Future Predictions: Paving the Way for Expansive Technology Applications
The excitement didn’t end there. Desmo Labs’ COO, Joey Zhong, was called upon to participate in two panel discussions at the EthCC 2023 side events, facilitated by Polygon ID and CoinW. These discussions plunged into the future trajectory of identity wallets and the tokenization of real-world assets. With Desmo Labs and D/Wallet emerging as key players in this evolution, we eagerly await the expansive application of this technology across Europe and the globe.
Championing Human Rights: Desmo Labs’ Triumph at NGI Ontochain Hackathon #1
The NGI Ontochain Hackathon #1, a competition devoted to the development of trustworthy applications promoting human rights, served as a grand finale to an exciting month for Desmo Labs. CPTO, Yu Liu, represented the team in this competition, impressing experts with the potential of human-centric applications. The team’s efforts were recognized by NGI, winning the second prize, which perfectly rounded off July for Desmo Labs.
Although July has passed, Desmo Labs’ paramount mission persists: building trust in a world of anonymity. This will continue to guide our actions and innovations well into the future.
