Sperry and Gazzaniga’s split brain experiment demonstrated that human actions and believes are never a result of any rational or empirical process, but the cause of theirs. Our brain will act according to our basic primitive needs, and cerebral cortex will justify our action. In this way I’m supporting the Austrians, because in an ontological sense, rationality is nothing but a reflect of our primitive needs. Rational thinking is never a gift of grace to mankind, but only a tool for survival.

What this instinct reflected in our society, is the economy.
